Extended Pagination

The Extended Pagination module adds advanced, AJAX-driven pagination to any Divi 5 loop. It connects to a loop already on the page and lets visitors load additional results without a full page reload — choose between numbered buttons, previous/next links, a load more button, or automatic infinite scroll.

Getting Started

  1. Add the Extended Pagination module.
  2. Set the Target Loop to the loop you want to paginate.
  3. Choose a Pagination Mode and adjust the navigation, text, and design settings.

When a visitor clicks a page link or scrolls to the bottom (infinite scroll), the next page is fetched in the background and swapped into the loop — the page itself never reloads.

Content Settings

Target

1. Target Loop

Choose which loop on the page this pagination should control.

  • Main Query – No loop is selected. The module does not render until a loop is chosen.
  • Every active loop on the page is listed here automatically, named after the module it belongs to.

Navigation

2. Pagination Mode

Choose how the next set of posts is loaded.

  • Numbered Buttons – (default) Shows page number links (1 2 3 …). Clicking a number replaces the current page of results. Combine with Show Previous / Next and Show First / Last to add surrounding navigation.
  • Previous / Next Links – Shows only Previous and Next links that step one page at a time.
  • Load More Button – Shows a single button that appends the next page of results below the current ones.
  • Infinite Scroll – Automatically loads the next page as the visitor scrolls near the bottom of the loop, appending results continuously.

3. Show Previous / Next

(Numbered Buttons mode only) Turn on to display Previous and Next links before and after the numbered buttons.

4. Show First / Last

(Numbered Buttons mode only) Turn on to display First and Last links that jump straight to the first and last pages.

5. Adjacent Pages

(Numbered Buttons mode only) The number of page links to show before and after the current page.

For example, with 3 set and the visitor on page 5 of 10, the module shows:

… 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 …

Set 0 to display every page without truncation.

Texts

6. First Link Text

The label shown on the First page link. Default: First.

7. Previous Link Text

The label shown on the Previous link. Used by the Previous / Next Links mode, and by Numbered Buttons when Show Previous / Next is enabled. Default: Previous.

8. Next Link Text

The label shown on the Next link. Default: Next.

9. Last Link Text

The label shown on the Last page link. Default: Last.

10. Separator Text

(Numbered Buttons mode only) The text shown between page links when pages are hidden by truncation. Default: ...

11. Load More Text

The label shown on the Load More button. Default: Load More.

Page Links Text

Controls the appearance of the page number links, Previous/Next, First/Last, and separator elements.

16. Background Color

The background color applied to all page links (and separators).

17. Active Background Color
