Getting Started with Divi Extended Loop
Divi Extended Loop is a plugin built exclusively for Divi 5. It enhances the native Loop Builder by adding advanced query, filters, and sorting controls to all Divi modules that support loops. Once activated, a new section called Extended Loop will appear in the module settings panel.
Context-Aware Extended Loop Options
The Extended Loop options are context-aware and dynamically adapt based on the selected loop type:
- Post-Based Loops: Offer options for post status control, custom meta sorting, date queries, taxonomy query builders, and ACF Relationship / Gallery field support.
- User-Based Loops: Provide controls for user-specific queries and ACF User field integration.
- Terms-Based Loops: Include options for managing empty terms and ACF Taxonomy field support.
Latest Additions & Advanced Capabilities
Recent enhancements to the plugin also introduce:
- Nested Loops: Allowing child loops to inherit parent IDs for dynamic relationships (such as ACF Relationship fields, current term posts, or author-specific posts).
- No Results Overrides: Complete control over empty states (hide the module, show custom text, or render a custom Divi layout).
- WooCommerce Filters: Dedicated store filters for featured items, sales, stock status, ratings, and price ranges.
