This section covers how to configure where your gallery images are pulled from, how they are sorted, and how to manage your layout data dynamically within the Divi Builder.

1. Images Source Options

In the Content tab, you can define how your gallery populates its images by choosing from several Image Source options:

• ACF Gallery (acf_gallery): Automatically reads and pulls all images from a specified Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) gallery field. Enter your custom field name into the ACF Gallery Field Name input box that appears.
• Manual Selection (custom): Allows you to hand-pick and manage a specific set of custom image selections for a static gallery layout.
• WooCommerce Product Gallery (woo_gallery): Automatically pulls all gallery images attached to the current WooCommerce product when viewed on a singular product page. (Requires WooCommerce to be active).
• Post Attachments (post_attachments): Dynamically loads all media attachments uploaded as children to the current post or page on singular views.

2. Sorting and Arrangement Options

Once your source is chosen, you can fine-tune how the images are ordered and structured using the Order and Order By settings:

Order Direction (Order)

• Ascending: Displays images from lowest to highest, oldest to newest, or alphabetically (A to Z).
• Descending: Displays images from highest to lowest, newest to oldest, or in reverse-alphabetical order (Z to A).

Sorting Parameters (Order By)

• Maintain Selection Order: Preserves the exact sequence in which the images were originally uploaded, chosen, or arranged in the data source.
• Date: Organizes images based on their creation or upload timestamp.
• Name: Sorts images alphabetically by their file name.
• Slug: Arranges images based on their URL slug identifiers.
• Random: Shuffles the gallery images into a random sequence on each page load.
